AWS Serverless & Infrastructure-as-Code Task Auditor
Mercor
About this opportunity
Mercor lists this role for a frontier AI lab. You would evaluate the quality, correctness and cloud-architecture soundness of AWS serverless and infrastructure-as-code tasks used to train and evaluate its models, and give clear, rubric-based written feedback.
What the work involves
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building multi-service AWS serverless applications (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB/Streams, S3, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Step Functions).
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation or SAM).
- Able to assess event-driven architecture correctness, IAM/permission boundaries and failure/retry semantics.
- Familiarity with local emulation and testing fidelity (for example LocalStack) versus real AWS behaviour.
- Preferred: AWS certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer), observability and cost-optimisation experience for serverless workloads, and prior code-review or task-grading experience.

- Keep an up-to-date CV or LinkedIn profile ready, and any work you are allowed to share.
