About this opportunity
The senior version of Mercor's full-stack role for a leading AI lab's GenAI team. You would build, integrate and stress-test real software on top of frontier models before they ship, owning systems end to end and working directly with the lab's engineering manager.

Required qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience building and shipping production software at a recognised, top-tier organisation, including ownership of systems end to end.
- Deep production experience in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C# or C++, and demonstrated delivery in a second language from a different ecosystem.
- Ownership across the stack: backend service and API design, a modern front-end framework (React or equivalent), data modelling, and cloud deployment and operations.
- Able to get up to speed on an unfamiliar codebase quickly.
- A record of career progression, and strong written communication.

Eligibility requirements
- Located in the United States.
- Able to commit 40 hours per week on weekdays.
What to expect
- Full-time: 40 hours a week, W-2 through Cincinnatus LLC, with the chance to be placed at the AI lab.
- Fast-moving projects with limited up-front specification.
- Pay listed by Mercor at $90–$110 per hour.
